1000-Arm Chenrezig

Standing at an extraordinary seven metres tall, the 1000-Arm Chenrezig rises as a powerful embodiment of boundless compassion. As one of the first three sacred figures encountered upon entering the Great Stupa, its presence shapes the experience of every visitor from the very first step inside.

Thanks to the generosity of our community, the statue itself has already been fully funded. We are now preparing for the final stage of its installation.

Due to the sheer size and weight of the statue, specialist lifting equipment and experienced operators are essential to safely reposition it. A section of the current base must be removed so the statue can be set back properly within its alcove. This move will allow the statue to sit flush against the wall and create space for a dedicated altar at the front, where offerings and prayers can be made.

To complete this operation, we are seeking $10,000. These funds will cover:

· Specialist lifting equipment capable of safely moving a seven-metre statue

· Qualified operators and rigging professionals

· Temporary closure of the Great Stupa to allow secure access and movement

By supporting this final stage of placing Chenrezig in its rightful position, you are also supporting the next stage: the intricate painting, filling and decorative work that will bring the statue fully to life.
