Vegecareian Festival celebrates the coming together of friends, family and cultures. Learn how vegetarianism has developed in other communities, watch cooking demonstrations and sample vegetarian dishes from all over the globe. Learn the benefits of a vegetarian diet for your health and for other sentient beings. Bring along your furry friends and get them blessed by a Buddhist monk or nun inside The Great Stupa. There are heaps of activities for the kids too!

Vegecareian is a vegetarian and vegan event, and all food/products available for sale must be vegetarian and vegan only.
Volunteers
The life-force of the festival, volunteers are an integral part of making this event possible. Thank you.
You’re sure to meet some other amazing people along the way while helping to spread peace and harmony to all our attendees. Here are some of the volunteer roles available:
- General – bump-in/bump-out, cleaning/recycling, traffic
- Experienced – meet and greeters, information guides, data collection, stage assistant

Getting here
By car is the best way to get to The Great Stupa Bendigo which is located at 25 Sandhurst Town Road, Myers Flat, Victoria, Australia. We encourage you to carpool where possible.
Unfortunately at this stage there is no public transport directly to the venue.

- From Bendigo Station catch a bus or taxi to The Great Stupa.
- From Eaglehawk Station catch a bus or taxi to The Great Stupa.

- Catch Route 54 service from Bendigo Station to Maiden Gully, from Maiden Gully a taxi to The Great Stupa.
- Catch Route 52 service from Bendigo Station to Eaglehawk, from Eaglehawk a taxi to The Great Stupa.
