Designed by Kyabje Zopa Rinpoche this Liberaton Cloth is printed with various mantras. This cloth, when placed over human beings and animals when they are dying, is to protect them from being reborn in the lower realms. The cloth is printed with the following mantras: Chenrezig mantra, Secret Relic mantra, Namgyalma mantra, and mantra from the Sutra of Great Liberation, and surrounded with lotus flowers. When these Liberation Cloths are used to drape on the deceased, they can be cremated, buried with the body or removed and re-used. The Liberation Cloths can also be used by the living at times of sickness or pain for purification. If the Liberation Cloth is larger than the body parts to be covered, it can be folded. As long as the cloth touches the body, it is fine whether the printed words are facing towards the body or outwards. The Liberation Cloth can also be hung on a wall, to purify the space and bless anyone who comes in it. 50cm x 100cm
