Help Protect and Share a Rare Treasure of Tibetan Buddhist Art

The Great Stupa Library is home to a truly extraordinary work: Murals of Tibet, a huge publication showcasing the most precious surviving murals of Tibetan Buddhist culture, recognised as part of the world’s cultural heritage.

For the first time, these astonishing and intricate masterpieces can be experienced in blazing colour and life-size resolution. The book is signed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and is a revelation for scholars, lovers of Tibetan culture and practitioners of Buddhism, yoga, meditation and mindfulness alike.

Because of its size, rarity and significance, this remarkable book cannot be safely displayed without proper protection. We are seeking to raise $2,500 to create a custom-made acrylic display case, as well as cover the costs of shipping and installation within the Great Stupa Library.

This purpose-built case will:

· Protect the book from damage

· Preserve it for future generations

· Allow it to be openly displayed for public viewing, so visitors can experience its beauty and cultural importance firsthand
