The Kangyur and Tengyur are among the most revered collections of Buddhist teachings in the world, containing the words of the Buddha and centuries of commentaries by great masters. These precious texts are an invaluable source of wisdom for present and future generations.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, beautiful handcrafted Tasmanian Oak cabinets have been built to house these sacred collections at the Great Stupa. The cabinets provide a fitting home for the texts while enhancing the spiritual and cultural significance of the shrine.
We are now seeking support to complete the final stage of the project. Skilled craftsman Sean will be applying the finishing touches to the cabinets, ensuring they are properly finished and protected so that the sacred texts can be preserved for many years to come.
