His Eminence Ling Rinpoche at the Great Stupa

A unique opportunity to receive teachings directly from a revered master of the Gelug tradition.

Join us at the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion for a rare and precious two-day event with His Eminence the 7th Kyabje Yongzin Ling Rinpoche, featuring Dharma teachings and sacred initiations. 

Over this precious weekend, His Eminence will offer:
• Amitayus Initiation – Saturday 10am – 12pm
• 21 Taras Initiation – Sunday 10am – 12pm
• A Public Dharma Teaching – Saturday 2pm

This ticket is perfect for those who wish to attend the talk only, without participating in the full weekend of initiations. 

Ling Rinpoche will speak on the topic: “What is Universal Compassion?” This talk will be opened with a spcial LIVE performance by Tenzin Choegyal. 
Tickets to attend the talk are set at $25 each. They can be purchased by clicking the button below. 

Booking is essential for all attendees and a small fee of $50 applies to attend the two-day event. This includes the 2 initiations and the Public Dharma Talk.
This fee has been kept low to make the event accessible to as many people as possible. We are also gratefully accepting donations to help offset the costs associated with hosting His Eminence Ling Rinpoche.

Participants who have booked will be provided with additional event information closer to the date.

As the booking fee does not cover operational costs, we rely on the generosity of our community to help bring this event to life.

Meals are not included in the booking fee. A limited, pre-set vegetarian meals are available for purchase at the time of booking. We are unable to cater for additional dietary needs, guests with specific requirements are kindly asked to bring their own vegetarian food. Additional food and drinks are available from the on-site StupaView Café.

Limited on-site accommodation is available through the Atisha Centre, the Great Stupa, and nearby Dharma centres. Contact details are provided for lay guests, monks, and nuns via the link below.

By car is the best way to get to The Great Stupa Bendigo which is located at 25 Sandhurst Town Road, Myers Flat, Victoria, Australia. We encourage you to carpool where possible.

Unfortunately at this stage there is no public transport directly to the venue.
